EXECUTIVE EDUCATION IN CITY LEADERSHIP AND INNOVATION

Practicum in Smart City Leadership

City Leaders

City leaders may complete their practicum by attending a TECH Smart Cities Innovation Accelerator or a workshop co-located with a major smart city conference (see list below). The purpose of the practicum is for leaders to actively share their insights and best practices with the community through a presentation or other approved dissemination media. Participants will submit their project idea for approval and will work with instructors to develop the ideas and contribution. The final delivery will be to other city leaders and industry professionals at a civic innovation event for city leaders hosted by the center or a workshop co-located with an industry conference. Dates of upcoming events are shown below.

Non-City Leaders

City partners, NGOs and industry may complete their practicum by attending a TECH Smart Cities Innovation Accelerator or workshop co-located with a major smart city conference (see list). The purpose of the practicum is for leaders to actively share their insights and best practices with the community through a presentation or other approved dissemination media.  Participants will submit their project idea for approval and will work with instructors to develop the ideas and contribution. The final delivery will be to other city leaders and industry professionals at workshop co-located with an industry conference. Dates of upcoming events are shown below.

(Program fees include practicum advising and instruction. All travel is the responsibility of the participant.)
